Lunar Meadows was among the first permanent commercial housing developments on the moon. Erected 5 years after Neo Miami became inhabitable; Lunar Meadows was developed to provide “modern and affordable housing for a modern workforce.” The building architecture is classified under the “Modular Neo-Retro” style which is common for most lunar developments. As such, the development is capable of expansion through additions to the base structure, either through the addition of new top floors or through horizontal expansion. The infrastructure of the building has come under criticism for engineering and contracting shortcuts that result in questionable stability. Additionally, rodent and insect infestations reports seem to have gone unnoticed by management, as little to no action has been taken unless reports are made to authorities or news outlets.
